Bay Area Bridal Ideas
May 8, 2010 by Bay Area Bridal
There always seems to be a plethora of information on Bay Area bridal ideas from everyone you talk to, but ultimately the choice is your own. Therefore it pays to be educated in the options that you have available in your budget and area. Here are a few ideas for those on a tight budget that still want a fantastic and memorable day.
Outdoor weddings cost less overall than those held indoors. For the most part, if you have a favorite park, you can contact the Parks Department in the blue pages of the phone book. Some parks require a deposit be paid for the use of the park, while others ask for donations and most all require you to have a permit for the time you will be in the park for your festivities. This can also be obtained through information given at the Parks Department. Without paying for a hall rental or church wedding, you save more money to spend on other things like your dress or honeymoon.
The Bay Area bridal wedding guides found on so many sites suggest using a planner. However, if you are on a budget, a planner is not necessarily at the top of the list. Once you have your wedding date, you should start planning no less than 9 months in advance. If your big day will be in months from February to August, you should start planning a full year ahead of time; this is the busiest time of year for weddings and most all businesses will be booked or very busy during your big day. So planning ahead will help you to secure your spot on the list. Be prepared to pay a deposit for any services you request ahead of time to make sure your date is saved for your service provider.
